Title : Quality Leader
Location : Hyderabad
Position Purpose
The individual in this role will be responsible to drive transactional effectiveness and efficiency in the Company Finance Service Centre, with the scope including all the Finance processes. This role is the top quality leader for the DSCI and will report to the Service Centre Leader. The individual must have a strong quality background and experience and knowledge of operations. This role will lead the work of Quality Specialists assigned to the various transactional teams.
Functional Responsibilities
The primary functions of this position are to:
Ensure that effective quality systems (e.g. workflow tools, metrics, audits, complaints, root cause analysis, etc.) are in place and that appropriate tools and processes (e.g. 6 Sigma, Lean) are being used to drive transactional effectiveness/efficiency.
Ensure standard processes are clearly defined, documented and implemented in support of process transitions, stabilization and continuous improvement.
Lead the Quality Specialists assigned to each 1-2 transactional work teams to drive transactional effectiveness/efficiency across all work teams.
Work closely with the Operations leaders and their teams, and also reporting with the Service Center leader, as appropriate to drive needed improvements.
Become a transactional SME for the service centre by understanding the transactional work being performed across the breadth sufficiently to identify any capability gaps and then arrange or provide training to eliminate any capability gaps.
Work closely with the Service Centre leader to ensure a team approach, high morale, high retention and strict adherence to Company core values across the service centre.
Know-how / Experience
The incumbent must have at least a bachelor’s degree (preferably an MBA) and must be trained in Six Sigma methodology.
A minimum of 4years experience in a similar role with a medium to large professional organization. Preference will be given to BPO / Shared Service Centre experience. Experience implementing Six Sigma projects / Lean thinking in business processes.
Knowledge of BPO processes, quality systems, tools and best practices, critical to transactional effectiveness (eg. Workflow, 6 sigma, complaint process etc.).
Proven team leadership skills; ability to effectively influence and motivate others, and an ability to work effectively with all levels.
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English are a must.
Demonstrated ability as a change agent.
Strong project management skills.
A high level of personal commitment to a team environment.
